Dress up and Dance Report
Time to Groove for Cancer
On Monday 8th June, Children and adults at Dishforth school dressed up and danced for Macmillan cancer support. They were dressed up as their favourite sports person, their hero or their inspiration. Some of the outfits were England rugby players, superheroes and film characters.
At lunchtime some people did a fun run. Children had to run around the big school field as many times as they could. Certificates for the children who did the fun run were given out at 3.30 (the end of the day).
Children from Class 1 did a Bollywood dance. Children from Class 2 learned the hip-hop-potamus and the superhero dance. Every class performed their dance in assembly.
